Jean Therapy

Fronted by Jean Lenke, Jean Therapy celebrates the sophistication of master musicians like Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Joni Mitchell’s jazz-rock period, Sergio Mendez and other great artists of the 60’s & 70’s with their own modern interpretations of classic Jazz & Rock Fusion music. Slightly off center, yet hauntingly familiar – this unique ensemble’s repertoire is fun and unexpected.

“The music we play is part of our collective DNA. It’s a mixture of the popular music grew up on through the 70’s and the music that our parents played on the AM radio, ubiquitous, always there as we drove to the shore in the back of our parent’s station wagon. Whether you love it or hate it, songs like ‘Walk on By’ & ‘Its Too Late’ are imprinted in our brains.”

Emmanuel Ohemeng III and Perpetual Motion is a Jazz/R&B band consisting of great Philadelphia musicians. Led by award-winning trumpet player Emmanuel Ohemeng III, the band covers songs from artists such as Floetry, Freddie Hubbard, Terence Blanchard, Nirvana and many more. Our goal is to express our views and ideas about life and current events using the platform of music. Because of this, every event is something different. Come and join us on our journey!

Rusty and Jan are a guitar and flute/woodwind duo. We feel that our vocal harmonies are familiar, yet innovative.  Our style is very eclectic and we cover a vast array of musical styles and genres including originals, classical, folk, standards, and modern day pop.  (Basically Bach to Beatles and Dylan to Adele!).  We are proud performers of the 55th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival.

The Patchwork Fools meld the thought-provoking songwriting and nuanced instrumental composition of guitarist and singer Will Mason with the helical harmonies and boundless spirit of The Match Twins (Aviva and Leora Match). Inventive drummer Josh Funk rounds out their indie style. Together, the Fools celebrate beauty alongside the challenges that arise in each person’s search for love and meaning in the vast universe.
