Meet the Musicians

Here are some of the musicians we’ll see at this weekend’s Arts in the Park!

Art Miron and Millard Brown

The duo of Art Miron and Millard Brown, occasionally self-described as ‘Bald is Beautiful’, present their well- crafted ‘Americana Music’, a collection of carefully chosen songs from the country, folk, singer-songwriter and pop traditions. What makes them especially interesting is their fine vocal harmonizing and the blend of Art’s softer acoustic guitar with Millard’s electric guitar. Art and Millard have been playing together for many years, performing many gigs throughout the area.

High Brow Hound Dogs

High Brow Hound Dogs play a variety of music drawing from the Great American song book and are inspired by the music of many greats including Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The members of this acoustic group are Mat Clark on double bass and fiddle, Rory Cohen on drums, Denise Gealer on bass ukulele and percussion, Joel Hanna on guitar and dobro, and David McCullough on resonator ukulele and guitar. All members of the band share vocal leads and trade sterling harmonies High Brow Hound Dogs appeal to a wide variety of audiences. Dancing is common occurrence during one of their shows. Their many fans have described them as delightfully entertaining and fun!

Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan is an 18 year old singer, songwriter, and music producer. Matt is a senior at Cheltenham High School. He released his first collection of songs, “see, think, wonder.” in 2017. In 2018, Matt released TOGETHER, a collaborative mixtape featuring a variety of vocalists on each track.
